Brent is the owner of the Real Estate Action Group (REAG). He purchased it from his friend the founder of REAG, Ozzie Jurock, 3 years ago. Brent has been investing in real estate for over 40 years buying his first property when he was 18, and his first investment when he was 19. Brent has been consistently the number one or two realtor in the Fraser Valley for the past 34 years. Brent has personally bought over 300 units over the years doing joint ventures, fixing flips, by and holding properties and development sites.
He has four amazing kids and just said the most amazing grandbaby almost 5 months ago.

BIOGRAPHY
Elizabeth is a licenced REALTOR and the full time Host and Coach of the Real Estate Action Group for the last two years. With over 15 years experience in real estate and Investing and an over 8 year partnership with REAG’s owner Brent Roberts.
She bought her first property in 2004 at the age of 20, was licenced as a REALTOR in 2007, and quickly moved onto renovation flips and joint venture real estate investments.
She then became a Real Estate Investment Advisor (REIA) flying all over the country with the REIN group; to Edmonton, Calgary and Toronto, regularly working their Seminars training others in the art of Real Estate Investing.
She then traded simply “teaching” for more “doing” and left the group in 2014 to pursue Investing Full time. She became an expert in single family renovation flips, raw land rezoning and new multi family developments.
Currently she is the owner and manager of a 52 unit townhouse strata complex, new build development project in beautiful Maple Ridge BC, worth around $60 million complete.
Elizabeth has successful earned millions in ROI for her Joint Venture Partners. She is also a mother of 4 boys…yes 4, and is currently writing an inspirational book highlighting both the freedom and adversity faced specifically as a female investor and mother.

Coming from a family of accountants, Ava values hard work and compassion above all. She became one of the youngest award-winning agents at REMAX and was unstoppable thereafter. Bill Laidler
BIOGRAPHY
Bill was one of RE/MAX Western Canada’s Top 5 Agents from 2013 to 2020. He helped builders find properties and assisted homeowners in selling detached homes that could be developed into single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, or townhomes. In 2020, Bill transitioned to full time multifamily development with the launch of Laidler Development. Laidler now has over 400 units at different stages of approval and construction.
In 2024, Laidler Capital was opened to allow real estate professionals and community members ro share in the profits from investing in 4 to 6 unit small-scale multi-unit housing as passive investors.
Laidler Capital Fund I allows community members to add real estate development to their investment portfolios, while also creating new housing options for grandchildren to live closer to their grandparents. Each fund is spread across multiple projects with investment cycles of less than 2.5 years. Laidler Calital Fund I includes 3 properties in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Ralph Case

Ralph is a past president and advisory board member of the Real Estate Action Group and President of Jurock Case Investment Realty. Ralph has been a speaker at hundreds of Real Estate Investment conferences in the United States and Canada, and owns a Real Estate development and syndication company. He is an author in the books: Real Estate Action, Real Estate Action 2.0 and the bestseller: Trendsetters. Over a 40 plus year career he has bought and sold over 3,000 multifamily units either personally or with joint venture partners. His specialty is “Action Plans” and he has helped numerous Real Estate Action Group members perfect their plans and reach their goals. Today Ralph mostly spends his time traveling. He has a real estate portfolio with units in BC, Alberta, Ontario and the USA. His favourite people in the world other than his family are his property managers and his accountants.

Derek Peever
BIOGRAPHY
Derek Robert Mathew Peever was born son to Michael Roy Peever and Karen Gene Peever February 3rd 1984 in New Westminster, British Columbia. Derek grew up in different parts of Surrey, Pitt Meadows and Aldergrove, working odd jobs through the school years ranging from paper routes, a loonie store, gas stations, concrete, washing dishes at Sammy J Peppers to name a few! Having then excelled in the west coast marine industry for nearly a decade, Derek is now pursuing his true passion in life full time; the people and businesses associated with PeeverConn Group of Companies. In 2006, Derek decided to base his initial real estate investing business PeeverConn Properties Inc in Abbotsford BC with his business partner at the time, Carson Conn.
Derek sees himself as a visionary entrepreneur with a vivid picture painted in his mind of what the future holds for PeeverConn Group of Companies. Derek has an incredible appetite for knowledge in the fields of self-improvement, leadership & management, real estate, business, and has adopted a lifelong learning attitude. Benjamin now collaborates with a team of analysts and originators in Vancouver, helping structure debt and equity opportunities throughout the British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario real estate markets.

Christian is an award winning educator and real estate focussed financial advisor. His financial practice focuses on building wealth for clients using real estate. Rick Hoogendoorn

Affectionately known as “Rictoria” at Ozzie’s Real Estate Action Group (REAG), Rick Hoogendoorn has been investing in real estate since 1997 alongside his spouse, Cheri. Initially working as financial advisors, they soon discovered their success with property investments far surpassed their experiences in traditional markets—leading them to become Victoria realtors.
Over the years, they’ve owned dozens of properties, half of them through joint venture partnerships with friends and family. In 2014, Rick and Cheri transitioned into development, building three purpose-built rental apartment buildings of 20, 30, and 63 units. To finance these projects, they formed limited partnerships and raised capital from family, friends, and sophisticated investors. Recently, their focus has shifted from development to strategic land assemblies.
Rick’s work has garnered six “Deal of the Year” awards from REAG, including three for Best Joint Venture, one for Best Single Family Flip, one for Best Land Deal, and one for “Thinking Outside the Box.” He is the author of What Is Stopping You? and 18 Holes to Your Goals, as well as a contributing author to Ozzie’s Real Estate Action 2.0. Currently, Rick is co-authoring a new book called One More House with Ralph Case.

Sgaan Dutheil
BIOGRAPHY
Sgaan Dutheil, a dedicated commercial fisherman, has spent most of his life navigating the vast oceans in pursuit of his livelihood. Born into a family of humble beginnings in northern B.C. on Haida Gwaii, Sgaan learned the value of hard work and perseverance from a young age. Despite the challenges, he had a dream of giving himself and his family a better life. To do this, he rose to the challenge of becoming a captain at age 21, in charge of a crew of 4 to 5 deckhands, running a 60 foot fishing vessel weighing 70 tonnes. Not only was he successful, he became one of the top 5 producers in a large fleet of fishing vessels like you see on the reality show “Deadliest Catch.” Balancing his demanding career as a commercial fisherman with his responsibilities as a husband and father, Sgaan made it a priority to create lasting memories and cherish the moments spent with his loved ones. His passion for the sea was only surpassed by his devotion to his family.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and building generational wealth for his family, Sgaan embarked on a remarkable journey of self-education, diving into the world of real estate investing and developing.
